‘Christkindlsmarkt’ is a German Christmas Market
Want to join our Christkindlsmarkt? We focus on the coziness of the season and encourage the participation of the community to appreciate the intrinsic, handmade products that come from an Appalachian background. We like to offer the market goers of 2021 high quality arts and crafts. This is Schulz Bräu’s first Christkindlsmarkt and we want everyone to enjoy themselves. Occurring four consecutive weekends from November 27th to December 18th from 12-7PM, we hope to attain around 10 vendors for each weekend.
Know Your Area
Reserved sales areas (Areas) are provided to all vendors. Included in the provided Areas are the number of chairs requested AND one (1) to two (2) tables (each 87” x 20” or 47” x 28”). While heaters are provided throughout the Biergarten, please ensure that you wear weather-appropriate clothing for our outdoor Biergarten. Vendors are welcome to bring in appropriate decorative pieces, displays, and/or furniture to market their booths. Some decorative displays may be provided by Schulz Bräu. Christmas décor and dress is encouraged.
Please note that Vendor Areas may differ from one another. You’ll be notified of the size of your space during initial application and confirmation. Pictures of Areas may be provided upon request.
Once you’ve been accepted as a vendor, an invoice will be sent to your email and is payable online or by cash or check. To be a vendor at Schulz Bräu Brewing Christkindlsmarkt, there is a required, flat rate fee of $50.00 due by 11:30AM on your reserved date. Repeat vendors may pay the total sum by 11:30AM on the first reserved date OR split the payments between the individual reserved dates. Repeat vendors may receive Fee discount – just ask! Obtaining this packet DOES NOT guarantee a reserved date or confirmation. Please expect a confirmation email including all agreed upon requirements.
No payment is required until you have been accepted. You will be sent an invoice, and online payment is preferred.
Vendors may not sell drinks of any kind. Water will be provided to all vendors. ID must be provided to purchase an alcoholic drink.
If you find it necessary to cancel up to 10 days before your reserved date, we will refund your fee total. 7 days before, we will refund your fee minus a $20 administration fee. No refund after 7 days. Possible exceptions will be considered, of course, but please make sure you are available before applying.
